George Reeves
Guitarist/Vocalist
George was a part of the Athens music scene in the 70's playing in “Acme Blues Band”, “Easy Roscoe”, “Curly Maple” and “Stop 20” to name a few. After moving to Savannah, Ga. he played for 17 years with Ansel, Strong & Reeves. Moving to Nashville, he began a career as a studio session player. The more famous sessions included Mark Knofler, and Tony Arata.
Lee Ladensack
Guitarist / Vocalist
Lee has been playing guitar and singing for over 27 years. After High School, he did a tour of duty in the United States Naval Band as a trumpet player, guitarist, and vocalist. He also plays saxophone, piano, harmonica and bass guitar. Lee has written and recorded many songs with many groups and is currently working on a new material for an upcoming CD project with the boys.
James "Bubba" Poe
Bassist / Guitarist / Vocalist
James was a member of the Atlanta based band “The Blue Cats” for some time and has been playing bass and primarily singing backup harmonies for some of the most talented songwriters in the Atlanta and Western North Carolina area for the past 22 years. His influences can be heard in his steady and driving playing style and "Bubba" is equally comfortable playing acoustic guitar.
David Hunter
Drummer / Percusionist
Born in Klamath Falls Oregon Dave spent his first 13 years travelling the country with his family before landing in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1974. While in San Francisco David became a budding drummer and joined local area bands. After 26 years of playing David has become a top player and studio musician. Dave records and arranges music from his home in Glennville NC.
Steve Johannessen
Multi-keyboardist / Vocalist
Hailing from Northern California Steve did a stint with the Air Force band on trombone and vocals. He graduated from Berklee College of Music in 1982. While there he started many popular boston groups. Steve was a very active studio musician working as a synthesizer programmer for Kurzweil with many artists including Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel, and many more.
Don Miller
Saxophone / Flute / vocals / auxiliary percussion Originally from Redding, California, Don has over 40 years experience as a performer, composer, arranger and band director. He performed and recorded with several Navy and civilian bands and has performed for five presidents and numerous other consular and diplomatic representatives. He currently teaches music classes at Western Carolina University.
